Getting Around

Our town is small and there are many narrow and one way roads with limited parking.  During peak season there are many people trying to use cars, creating significant congestion for everyone.

A bus service runs between Manuel Antonio and Quepos operates from 5am to late night. It costs less than $1 each time you use it and is a far more efficient way to get around.  For the bulk of the day these busses run every 15-20mins from the main bus terminal in Quepos to Playa Espadilla and Manuel Antonio National Park and back again.

To help reduce congestion and reduce emmisions in our local environment, please consider leaving your vehicle at your accommodation and utilising the bus service.

Uber is mostly ineffective in this area, there are 'official' and 'unofficial' taxis. If you choose to use local taxis, always agree to a price before you get in - many are quite reputable - some are not.
